Markus Zajac, born in 1978, completed his university degree in computer science at the University of Paderborn in Germany in 2006. After working as a software engineer, he was employed as research associate at the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics in Dortmund from 2011 to 2019. His focus was the design of logistics decision support systems, project management and acquisition of research projects. Since 2019, he has been employed at the FernUniversität in Hagen. His research interests are hybrid quantum computing and database systems.
