The promotion of young researchers and early-stage research is a special focus of the “Data Science and Measurement” of the German Informatics Society. We aim at providing a platform, consisting of experienced researchers, young scientists and practitioners, to share and discuss ideas and get early feedback. Further, we want to attract researchers in the domain to present early-stage research, e.g., research plans, study protocols, or intermediate research outcomes. We also encourage practitioners to share their findings, experience, and future challenges. Work should be related to the field of autonomous systems, artificial intelligence, data science, Human-Centered Explainable Artificial Intelligence (HCXAI), engineering of ML/AI. Submissions should address the overall theme of the event "„Lock-in or log out? Wie digitale Souveränität gelingt”. E.g., by discussing to maintain digital sovereignty, supporting data literacy, what AI is doing with the society or individuals, enhance individuals competencies to cope with the evolutionary technology explosion, or how Data Science could improve product/service, the impact of ML/AI on society, data science for social good.
